CEM, an arm of Tyco Fire and Security, has released the xProx 200 range of card readers for use with the access control firm’s products.
The range is available in traditional 125 kHz Proximity and 13.56 MHz MiFare (ISO14443A) smart card options, and offers LCD display, keypad and internal database for off-line card validation at the door.
"In releasing this industry leading range of card readers to the market Andrew Fulton, business development director for Tyco Fire & Security’s CEM products says. "The new xProx 200 range will help maintain the CEM access control system as one of the most advanced available. As well as offering a wealth of useful features such as LCD display and internal database, the new range is available in MiFare smart card technology as well as traditional 125 kHz Proximity technology options, ensuring that CEM is well placed to meet the growing demand for smart card solutions."
The xProx 200 range complements the existing CEM proximity readers by providing a Mifare smart card reader solution, the Belfast-based firm says.
