Emirates Launch

by msecadm4921

HID Global recently held the HID on the Desktop launch event at the Emirates Arsenal Stadium, in London.

HID on the Desktop is the US access control product company’s latest converged logical and physical access control product. The firm took this opportunity to introduce HID on the Desktop to the UK market.

The event saw end-user and HID’s direct customers invited. According to Volker Kunz, EMEA Business Development Director, “it was the best opportunity to show what HID on the Desktop can do for a company. Attendees were very curious about how HID on the Desktop can provide a cost-effective and easy solution to deploy in these current difficult times for companies.”

Steven Commander, End user Manager, pointed out that “HID has created the perfect product for companies who want to find a more secure way of security further than simple passwords.”

And Paul Naldrett, EMEA Managing Director, foresees a great potential for HID on the Desktop. He says that the British market is more than ready to move forward and implement new systems of security. “HID on the Desktop is the best of the solutions for our customers. They will be able to use their existing card population to take their security infrastructure to the next level: logical access control with HID on the Desktop”

The day was completed by a guided stadium tour.
