Entry Level DVR

by msecadm4921

Vigilant have introduced an entry level digital video recorder (DVR).

The product, which has 16 camera inputs, delivers up to 25 frames per second of video from each camera. The recorder also has the capability to offer 16 channels of synchronised FM quality audio and is therefore suitable, according to the manufacturers, as a stand-alone solution for applications such as banks, and retail stores. With on board Raid-0, Xstream can store 2.4Gbyt of video. Other features include video motion detection. Sherlock, Vigilant’s activity and object tracking software, provides the ability to retrieve and analyse record video. The recorder’s intuitive graphical user interface uses the same platform as Vigilant’s Enterprise series.
