Companies in city centres cannot afford to be complacent and yet many do not take the basic measures to provide protection for people.
In particular when an explosion occurs it may be flying glass that causes up to 90 per cent of injuries and fatalities.
It is not just people that need protection; because in the case of the NatWest Tower attack the clean-up of stores alone cost £2m. So say organisers of a seminar titled ‘Basic measures’. It aims to outline the risks and provide solutions that every organisation should be aware of.
The seminar is at the offices of UK Society of Investment Professionals, 4th Floor, 90 Basinghall Street, London EC2V 5AY from 5.30pm on 22 June. The event is ideal for anyone in security, health & safety, facilities management and general management. Places will be limited on a first-come basis with no more than two people from an organisation. Refreshments will be served. To book a place email organisers Durable Limited. [email protected]
