First Security reportes it is one of the first companies to be named a Security Industry Authority (SIA) approved contractor.
Managing Director Jonathan Levine, says: “We are delighted to be one of the few to have been awarded this new and important status. As an approved contractor, we have met the the criteria set down for security guard licensing by the Approved Contractor Standard (ACS), which was finalised in February. The benefits will be enormous, allowing us to issue a license dispensation notice to a new employee soon after completion of their training, and start work on new contracts at short notice.” See also the April print issue of Professional Security.
