AVer Information Inc, the Taiwanese digital product firm, announces the appointment of Genie CCTV Ltd, the European supplier of CCTV, Network IP and Access Control equipment, as its exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for the AVer EH1000H-4 Nano series hybrid DVR, The agreement effectively started from August.

The agreement provides AVer with an entry point into the UK and Irish security and IT markets. Genie says that it shows its continued commitment to build partnerships with some of the world’s leading manufacturers.

The new AVer branded EH1000H-4 Nano four, eight and 16 vhannel DVRs from Genie are embedded hybrid surveillance DVRs that come with four, eight and 16 channel video inputs, and supporting up to four channels of IP cameras (including Megapixel IP cameras). It is aimed at small to medium sized businesses that have limited security budget and require less complicated DVRs. The advantages of having a hybrid system allow users to keep their analogue cameras; and add IP cameras to their analogue infrastructure.

Offering real-time recording and display, the EH1000H-4 Nano offers intelligent IP and analogue dual streaming features which the makers say improve preview performance. The new hybrid DVRs come with a free basic central management software enabling simultaneous connection and control of up to 16 DVRs in remote locations (The CM3000 Gold software allows the control of upto 1000 DVRs).

The new hybrid DVR range is designed with a compact chassis and constructed with a fan-less system ensuring the silent running of the DVRs and it is also possible to integrate with the most popular POS systems on the market using the general POS protocol integration. There is also a free app download to access the EH1000H-4 Nano from your iPhone, iPad, Blackberry or Android mobile device.
