IFSEC Diary

by msecadm4921

Thanks to the internet and the PC in the press office, here are first impressions of IFSEC, Monday, May 21.

For the last year, people are smoking indoors before they go into the show – from July, there’s the smoking ban in England.

Saw the Norbain stand people having their briefing outside the halls at 8.55am. Weatherspoons open for coffee and presumably anything stronger: your best bet. It crossed my mind that the four days of IFSEC are the reality of the year and the other 361 days of the year are a dream.

The US journalist speaking to me is telling someone, ‘the industry is about more than product,’ but IFSEC is hardly the place to be saying that.
