Image Scanning Mode

by msecadm4921

JVC reports that it is now providing the European security and surveillance community with better definition images produced from the VN-C215 series IP network dome cameras besides the VN-C20U (A) static camera.

Each IP network camera incorporates a progressive image scanning mode for the production of, the makers claim, crisp, clear images.

What they say

"At JVC we strive to provide our customers with the best images, especially where quality counts. The progressive scan mode in each of these IP cameras offer an outstanding depth of clarity, purity, and reality. This ensures extreme performance of surveillance cameras that operate over a computer network during the day and night," says Yash Patel, Executive Director,
CCTV Europe at JVC Professional Europe Ltd.

The VN-C215 series incorporates the vandal resistant VN-C215VP4U(A) and the VN-C215V4U(A) models. All cameras use PoE functionality, according to the IEEE 802.3af standard, which reduces installation costs and consolidates the power source to a central location, according to the manufacturers. AC24V for the VN-C20U and DC12V for the VN-C215 series cameras can also be used. They have an Easy Day/Night function for 24/7 operation and record images at a maximum high-speed frame rate of 30fps in VGA resolution (640×480) using a MJPEG compression.
