OptiScan Ltd reports it will be demonstrating two of its incident response systems at the 2004 INTERSEC conference.

The OptiScan EOD Field Inspector is a portable visual inspection system that allows bomb technicians to inspect the interiors of packages and small spaces using fiber optic and video technology. It has the ability to capture images and to transmit them back to a remote computer for further analysis. Also shown will be its SOAN-X small observation and neutralization robot. This 19 pound, single man deployable robot carries observation ability with three internal cameras and two powerful disruptor cannons. The SOAN-X has WMD countermeasure capabilities and a spectrum of accessories that make it a versatile small robotic platform, according to the makers; used throughout the world in military and law enforcement programs.
