Pentax Technologies Europe is presenting at IFSEC its new range of VersaCam internet cameras on stand B147 (Hall 6), with UK distributor 3GPP Services. The Pentax VersaCam digital internet camera automatically sends images at up to three frames per second to websites, local area networks (LANs), e-mail addresses, CCTV networks and personal computers. The VersaCam does not require a PC to operate. Pentax reports it has decided to expand its range of digital internet cameras and is introducing at IFSEC the Pentax VersaCam IC-360. This camera features remote pan tilt and zoom (PTZ) functionality and colour images up to 720×486 pixel resolution, without the need for an attached PC. The VersaCam IC-360 can use a variety of external devices such as IR-sensors, switches and other alarm inputs.
