Leisure Installation

by msecadm4921

In Wales, CCTV Services Limited have installed a 16 camera system in the Plas Arthur Leisure Centre, Llangefni using the Ultrak Posdata digital video recorder.

The recorder takes the analogue video signals from each camera and records them to Raid 0 hard disks. The system records all cameras 24 hours a day for 21days at between two and four frames per second depending upon the camera application. The centre manager is able to view all live and recorded video from a PC where he is also able to produce evidence in the form of video on CD or printed still image. Since installation the system has proved invaluable for both crime detection and as a management tool throughout the centre, the installers report, enabling streamlining of staff management and risk assessment in areas such as the pool and fitness suite.
