Domino’s Pizza Group in the UK and Irelandm, have brought in Sophos Anti-Virus to defend almost 240 stores against malicious code. Sophos is protecting Domino’s Pizza Group’s network against more than 70,000 computer viruses, Trojans and worms. This deal
forms part of a contract won by ISC Networks, one of the UK’s largest value added resellers and Sophos channel partner.

Ian Foxley, IT Director at Domino’s Pizza Group, says: ?After rigorous testing, we found that Sophos offered the complete solution – an efficient product combined with technical support. Our network holds a great deal of valuable data, all of which is vital to the day-to-day running of the business. It is essential that we protect this information – Sophos Anti-Virus is helping us to do that.? David Stanley, head of UK sales at Sophos Anti-Virus, says: ?In an increasingly connected world, security solutions must offer the highest levels of protection possible. Not only are viruses capable of destroying critical data, but they can also compromise company credibility and confidentiality.?

Meanwhile Equiinet, the principal secure server appliance provider, has integrated Sophos Anti-Virus technology into its NetPilot Enterprise multifunctional server solution. The Sophos anti-virus engine forms a part of the NetPilot Enterprise service, which provides company-wide access to the internet and e-mail. The appliance sits at the gateway to a network and incorporates full ‘boundary scanning’ capability to check all incoming and outgoing email for viruses, Trojans and worms. Bob Jones, Managing Director of Equiinet, says: ?We chose Sophos Anti-Virus on account of its high detection rates and ease of integration. Security is of paramount concern to our customers.? Mark Forrest, Sales and Marketing Director for Sophos, says: ?With the number of viruses spreading via email increasing steadily it is ever more important for companies to have additional protection at the gateway.?

NetPilot Enterprise is a compact, rack-mountable internet appliance for medium-to-large organisations. In addition to virus scanning it also incorporates a built-in, pre-configured firewall. See www.sophos.com.
