Domino’s Pizza Group in the UK and Irelandm, have brought in Sophos Anti-Virus to defend almost 240 stores against malicious code. Sophos is protecting Domino’s Pizza Group’s network against more than 70,000 computer viruses, Trojans and worms. This deal
forms part of a contract won by ISC Networks, one of the UK’s largest value added resellers and Sophos channel partner.
Ian Foxley, IT Director at Domino’s Pizza Group, says: ?After rigorous testing, we found that Sophos offered the complete solution – an efficient product combined with technical support. Our network holds a great deal of valuable data, all of which is vital to the day-to-day running of the business. Meanwhile Equiinet, the principal secure server appliance provider, has integrated Sophos Anti-Virus technology into its NetPilot Enterprise multifunctional server solution. The Sophos anti-virus engine forms a part of the NetPilot Enterprise service, which provides company-wide access to the internet and e-mail. The appliance sits at the gateway to a network and incorporates full ‘boundary scanning’ capability to check all incoming and outgoing email for viruses, Trojans and worms. Bob Jones, Managing Director of Equiinet, says: ?We chose Sophos Anti-Virus on account of its high detection rates and ease of integration. Security is of paramount concern to our customers.?
