Ross Rumbled

by msecadm4921

Presenter of BBC Crimewatch, Nick Ross, commented in the current Time Out magazine that shop keepers are the biggest recruiters of crime in the last 100 years.

The British Retail Consortium has taken issue. To blame such acts on the victims suggests a tolerance of crime and criminals that is very damaging coming from someone in his influential position, according to the BRC.

Kevin Hawkins, BRC Director General, invited Mr Ross to offer support for the BRC SCAR campaign – ‘Stop Crime Against Retail’. It aims to highlight the true incidence of crime against retailers, seeking changes to policy where needed.
