Europlex Technologies, exhibitors at IFSEC, report that their products allow a range of security and building services to be integrated and controlled using a single communications and management software platform.
Given the convergence of IT and security, Europlex is launching SigNet, a flexible, modular and hybrid (wire/wireless) security system which allows the security controller and communications devices to be integrated into a single board for the first time, conforming to the latest EN standards, it is claimed. The product offers IP communications and dual backup reporting capabilities, according to the firm. With a web server in-built, SigNet is suitable, the makers say, for applications requiring resilient and cost effective security and communications in a single package.
Meanwhile, 3GS, Europlex’s security and access control solution has been enhanced, the firm says, with the release of the new EN50131 software for the 3GS Controller. eCOMPro alarm management and access control software, unveiled at IFSEC, uses CiTeC II (resilient communications device) to allow users to use their broadband connections.
Europlex’s node family now incorporates the Portable ACE keypad wireless facility with the addition of a wireless node (869MHz) along with the addition a range of detectors.
Finally, a full range of building systems, including CCTV, intruder alarm, fire, lighting and elevator controls, can be managed by EuroNet, Europlex’s building management software package. Whilst security and BMS have been linked together previously, this has mainly been available only from high end system integrators, according to the Dublin-based firm.
