Software Medal

by msecadm4921

Hicom Business Solutions reports that their software for crime partnerships, National Business Information System (NBIS), has achieved Medallist status at the forthcoming British Computer Society IT Professional Awards.

Having gone through the judging process, NBIS has been selected by the Technology Judging panel as one of three Medallists in the ‘Social Contribution’ category. Hicom reports that the BCS annual awards judges recognised the benefits that NBIS has to offer to society, through enabling crime reduction partnerships to share information securely on individuals involved in criminal and anti-social activities against the retail and business sectors.

The software, the firm adds, enables partnerships to manage crime data at a local level and provides access to a national network.
