Speech Enunciator

by msecadm4921

GJD have recently launched the Multispeech 4, a four-channel speech enunciator module designed for security, access control, welcoming, advising or warning.

The module can be configured to accept any normally open or normally closed trigger from intruder detection equipment, alarm panel, panic button, telephone responder or even activation from a remote video CCTV monitoring atation, the Bolton-based manufacturers report.

A separate 20-second message can be recorded on each of the four channels, they can be linked or one message can be 90 seconds long. Each of the four messages can be played back separately by triggering the corresponding input. The unit provides an 8 Ohm audio output that can be applied to a loudspeaker or to a dialer that has a speech processor input.

Meanwhile the company has introduced the Multiswitch 3000Watt to complement their CCTV range. This weatherproof energy management controller has been designed to assist with the installation of CCTV systems and the compliance of BS8418 – illuminating the camera’s field of view.

This multi-purpose switching unit has volt free relay contacts and various timers allowing adaptation from being a standard dusk to dawn unit to functioning by alarm activation, passive or active infra red detection systems, door contacts or to being triggered from a remote video CCTV monitoring atation

The unit also provides 12VDC @ 500mA to power cameras and also interfaces with any normally open or normally closed devices required for 24-hour CCTV recording and all other ancillary switching equipment.
