Sixty days into its life, Talaris (formerly De La Rue Cash Systems), has announced a healthy commencement and continuation to business operations.
The company has undertaken what it calls a wide-ranging re-branding. Talaris has seen new business wins on each of the continents it operates in, with orders for its flagship products such as the Vertera and TCR Twinsafe and additional orders from European banks such as Lloyds TSB (UK) and SIBS from Portugal.
Talaris France has been awarded a two-year service contract by Sociéité Générale for the third part maintenance of its self service terminals.
Development strategy
Talaris has also held its inaugural conference for Business Partners in Istanbul – where more than 120 Partners learnt more of the company’s plans for continued innovation and market development. Talaris Group Marketing Director, Mal McHutchison said: “We formally commenced operations on September 1 – some 60 days ago – and across the business we have seen tremendous momentum driving the change of our brand, messaging and delivery. As an independent business we are in a position to respond swiftly and effectively to our customers needs and to be agile in a market that is seeing considerable movement and change.”

Our specialist technologies and solutions are in demand worldwide as we have seen with our recent business wins.”
Talaris is also celebrating two award wins as a result of success at the CIFTEE show in Bejing, China. CIFTEE is China’s largest financial technology exhibition, (China International Exhibition on Financial Banking Technology and Equipment: CIFTEE) and was a key Talaris launch platform for this important market. Talaris was presented with two awards at the show, the “Excellent Booth Design Award” and “Excellent Financial Equipment Award” given for the Talaris NMD 100 notes and media dispenser. The awards were received by Steve Copestake, Product and Development Manager and Jan Andersson, Technical Services Manager, Talaris OEM.
