Control Risks Group, the international business risk consultancy, is to launch a new travel product, CRTravelTracker.
The on-line product will allow companies to locate their employees around the world and communicate with them on security or travel issues at a moment’s notice. The on-line product is a real-time tracking tool, allowing the consolidation of all traveler data. In the event of an incident, a company can interrogate the data, locate the whereabouts of personnel in the area and communicate directly with them. CRTravelTracker sends out traveler notification emails to travelers before they embark on their itinerary with the latest security information on their destination from Control Risks’ Country Risks Forecast. Travelers are also given practical advice to help them to mitigate the risks which they could face. CRTravelTracker has the functionality to allow clients to communicate their corporate policy on travel security to their travelers through traveler notifications. Clients can be alerted when travelers are breaking the corporate policy guidelines so that they can take appropriate action. The product can also be linked to Control Risks Information Services and CR24, a 24-hour, seven days a week service. These integrated services, the consultancy adds, will allow travelers access to immediate and relevant information on the country and city they are traveling to, while providing them with access to trained and experienced consultants if there is a problem.
Duty of care
At a time, CRG adds, when a company’s duty of care requirements to its employees is critical and when the demand for quality information from employees is equally high, these services allow a company to respond effectively and rapidly in the event of an incident. Control Risks adds that it is committed to listening and responding to clients needs and believes that with the addition of CRTravelTracker to its portfolio of services, companies have support from the time a trip is planned to on-the-ground assistance in the event of an incident.
