Access control manufacturer FDI has launched a new website dedicated to educating installers on the “Stackability” of the Passan access product.
www.stackabilty.co.uk highlights Passan as a network access control solution which requires less equipment and reduced installation time compared to traditional access control systems, according to the makers.
FDI is an Urmet company. Mark Hagger, Sales and Marketing Director of Urmet said: "Unlike other network systems where you need an additional controller for every two doors, Passan’s controllers can be expanded ("stacked") to control up to six doors. Just 32 controllers are therefore needed to control up to 192 doors."
Visitors to the new website will find comprehensive information on how to specify, quote, install, programme and service a Passan system. Mark Hagger added: "There has been tremendous interest in Passan since it was introduced into the UK at the beginning of the year and we have built the website to complement the day to day support we provide to customers."
