Vertical Markets

Business analyst

by Mark Rowe

Hadrian Garner has joined the security contractor Lodge Service as a business analyst. He’ll be working at the monitoring and intelligence centre of the company, to assess data on losses and security ROI (return on investment) from sites operated by the firm’s retail and corporate clients.

Simon Chapman, managing director, says: “Hadrian’s appointment enables us to analyse data and assess new opportunities to reduce costs for major users of security and facilities management services. We can monitor, manage and control security and other building services centrally as well as deploy security and emergency teams – and provide high level marketing data, to help retailers, for example, to increase revenue and cut costs.”

Garner has experience in finance, business intelligence and political risk management, gained at Barclays and Equifax, with a background in military special forces with the British Army’s Pathfinder Platoon. He was responsible for loss prevention and anti-fraud strategies for UK retailers, working with consultants, the police and national press to identify and counter crime threats.
