Access terminal

Ingersoll Rand has launched the Interflex eVAYO range, for access control and time and attendance recording. The eVAYO platform has been awarded a ‘reddot design award’.

The new Access Control Terminal IF-800 is an access reader which is energy efficient using a power saving, low power and adjustable sleep mode. A chrome ring in the centre of the device shows users how and where to use their corporate credentials and an illuminated outline indicates whether a booking has been successful or not. The IF-800 can be integrated with any existing installation, IR add.

The PegaSys Office door lock is an offline access system which based on the ‘reddot design award’ platform ensures installation without damage to doors. The design comes with a blind cover for the mechanical cylinder and keyhole cover as standard allowing the existing cylinder to be used without adjustments. The access system will automatically shut down when not in use to save energy; and sounds an automated audible alert if the battery becomes low. At installation, no power or other cables are required and the system is integrated with existing ID card systems such as Proxif, LEGIC and Mifare. The PegaSys Office door lock is certified to fire protection and smoke control door standard DIN 18273.

A IF-5735 Time and Attendance Recording terminal comes with a touch screen display. Not only can the terminal record and display IN and OUT bookings, but can also be used to record outside assignments. The device operates using a low energy consumption and adjustable sleep mode. Upgrades to the software and hardware can be added.

Dave Bulless, UK & Ireland Customised Solutions Sales Leader of Ingersoll Rand, said: “The new Interflex eVAYO range offers end users and facility manager’s access to the most state-of-the-art security systems. Constructed using elegant metals and glass, the new products not only offer stylish designs, but the power saving modes available on each product ensures the terminals consume very little energy, therefore operating to a high energy efficiency standard, whilst still maintaining the highest security levels.”
