Access Control

Videx sponsor youth footballers

Globe Rangers FC’s Under 10’s Blue team, based in Chingford, plays in the East London and Essex League (ELE). It’s been funded by a local business, the access control and door entry company Videx.

Louis Trinnaman, Head of Youth Development at Globe Rangers FC, said: “We have great talent, team spirit and commitment at the club which is why we’re experiencing the success we are. However, this can only continue to be nurtured and developed through outside support from local businesses. We hugely value Videx’s sponsorship as it will provide great benefits to the team. For example, as a result of the sponsorship, the team has access to up-to-date specialised training equipment as the boys are getting ready to step up from seven to nine-a-side next season so they will need bigger goals, for instance, among other provisions.”

“What’s more, Videx’s funding will allow the club to supply winter training kits to the team this season to keep them comfortable and prevent injury during the colder months. It also gives the boys an extra spring in their step knowing they are sponsored – one of the lads said he felt like a professional having a sponsor on his shirt.”

John Rickard, Managing Director at Videx, said: “It’s great to help out such a promising, talented local team and we’re really pleased our support can provide much needed resources to help the team prosper and enjoy continued success.”

About Globe Rangers FC

The club, formed over 50 years ago, has produced a number of successful teams throughout the years and in addition to its youth set up it also has a senior men’s team as well as a veteran’s team. The current youth set up was formed by two experienced coaches, Louis Trinnaman and Nathan Brown, in 2009. In just six years, it has grown from a one team set up to now having seven teams across various age groups.

The club says that it’s always on the look out for new talent for its senior team down to their youngest youth team. The club is also able to offer coaching scholarships to young people – the club runs regular training sessions that can act as a gateway to a place in one of its teams.
