Panel upgrade

by Mark Rowe

The alarm product manufacturer Pyronix announced that all EURO 76 control panels are being despatched with the MSX-162 expansion card as standard, at no extra cost.

For installers, according to the firm, it will provide a tangible benefit of being able to use the standard panel on installs that require up to 162 inputs, without the cost and hassle of having to purchase an extra expansion card.

This change has taken place, with all EURO-76 panels now being despatched from the firm’s Rotherham head office as the upgraded EURO-162. The upgrade is clearly marked on the product packaging, as well as stating the old and new partcodes (as per the example on the right).
