Dahua Technology, the Chinese security manufacturer, is establishing an office in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, at the beginning of June 2017. Dahua says that it’s planning to offer all its security products and services to Bulgarian market. This will be the first Dahua office in the Balkans and all future activities within the region will be managed from here.
Dahua Technology will offer its Video Surveillance Systems, Intelligent Transportation and Smart Building Solutions, Access Control, Video Intercom, Alarms and Smart Locks. Applications, the firm says, include retail, schools, hotel, banking, city and traffic management, intelligent building and transport. Dahua local staff will provide pre-sales support for technical consultation, warranty and post-sales support services to Bulgarian clients.
Todor Gurgurov, Business Development Manager for Dahua Technology Bulgaria, said: “We have chosen to open our first office in the Balkans exactly here in Bulgaria, because the local environment has many uncovered opportunities. Dahua’s management is planning to make sizable investment to make Bulgaria the hub of video-centric security industry in the region.”
Dahua adds that it has been serving Bulgarian market since 2004, through its distributors Rak and Andi. With 100pc sales increase last year, Dahua has a plan to be one position higher than last year. Hence various marketing activities including opening a showroom in Sofia, roadshows and workshops, and presenting solutions customized for the Bulgarian market and customers. Dahua says it has been continuously investing around 10pc of annual sales revenue in R&D since 2010.
