Business development manager

At Farsight Security, Akeel Khalil, pictured, has been promoted to business development manager. Joining the remote monitoring station in 2007, Akeel has progressed through several roles at the firm, from CCTV operator, to team leader and client account manager.

Bringing into his new role years in remote monitoring and the security industry, Akeel said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for me to add another step into my career at Farsight. My people-skills and drive to provide an always-excellent service make this role the perfect match for me.”

Rob Moore, managing director at Farsight, added: “Akeel has proved himself time and time again at Farsight. The skills he brings to our business development team will not only be an asset to us but also the installers he will be working with. It’s thanks to team members like Akeel that Farsight continues to be at the cutting-edge of the industry, ensuring we provide a high-quality service to all installers and customers who choose us.”

Akeel will be managing business development for the firm in the south of the UK, alongside business development manager of the north, Patrick Cooper and UK sales manager, Chris Shields.
