New from Vista is the VK2-1080XVRDPTPMF. It’s a PTZ full HD pendant dome with sunshield. This provides the dome with added protection against glare from the sun.
The new model uses the latest Sony Xarina2 ISP, which allows up to 60ips (images per second) streaming, digital WDR (wide dynamic range) and the firm says improved low light and IR sensitivity. The dome has four alarm inputs allowing for integration into PIRs (passive infra-red detectors) for alarm activations.
According to the company, the product is suitable for applications requiring evidential purpose images, as it offers an on-board SD card for local recording on the camera. It is also ONVIF-compliant and works with Vista’s software and hardware recording and control products as well as other third party manufacturers’ video management software.
