VIVOTEK has launched two new fixed dome network cameras, the FD8155H and the FD8165H. Both cameras have a high-resolution CMOS sensor and feature Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), Smart IR (infra-red), and 3D noise reduction.
The FD8155H offers 1.3MP video resolution at 60 fps, whereas the FD8165H achieves a higher 2MP video resolution while maintaining the same fps (frames per second) rate. The FD8155H and FD8165H feature WDR Pro II and WDR Pro respectively, for visibility in highly contrasted places. Both models also feature 3D Noise Reduction, which the Taiwanese company says enables the cameras to capture clear, polished video under low light and reduce bandwidth from sensor noise; and Smart IR, which the makers say prevents overexposure and reduces noise by adjusting infra-red lighting intensity.
Both cameras come with a smart focus system for remote focus adjustment, at installation and configuration.
Steve Ma, Executive VP at VIVOTEK, said: “VIVOTEK continues to place considerable emphasis on superior image technologies, which is essentially one of the company’s biggest strengths. The launch of the FD8155H and FD8165H is yet another testimonial that elucidates our advancement in the development of fixed dome network cameras. These feature-rich cameras are ideal solutions for places with challenging lighting conditions, such as parking lot entrances, bank entrances, and hotel sidewalks.” Visit www.vivotek.com.
