Middle East project

by msecadm4921

Westminster Group Plc (‘Westminster’ or the ‘Group’), the AIM listed supplier of products to the security, defence, fire protection and safety markets, has been selected to provide surveillance equipment to a Middle East Government valued at over $900,000 US. Revenue in relation to this project is expected to be recognised during the current financial year.

Westminster says it was selected for this after several months of negotiations during which the firm demonstrated a good understanding of the issues involved and was able to advise on the best solutions available.

The surveillance equipment involved in this project will enable state security services to monitor criminal and terrorist activities, and obtain intelligence on such activities. Further information is restricted due to the classified nature of the project, the company adds.  Peter Fowler, Chief Executive of Westminster Group, said: “I am delighted to be able to announce yet another project award from a new Middle East client following on from other recent and significant contract wins so far in 2012. The range, frequency and geographical spread of our contract wins over the past few months is a testament to our growing international reach and reputation.”
