Oprema at IFSEC 2016

by Mark Rowe

Oprema, a UK multi-brand distributor of security equipment, will demonstrate the latest Dahua video wall display, pictured, at IFSEC International, from June 21 to 23, 2016, at Excel in London Docklands.

The Dahua video wall offers scalable display and multi-screen controller. It can support an unlimited number of LCD or LED panels and boasts a splicing function, decoding, and unlimited input ports (CVBS, VGA, DVI, SDI, HDMI, HDCVI or direct IP) which satisfy the need of SD/HD and digital/analogue random display combinations in a surveillance system. The wall can be configured via a web-based utility that allows you to create multiple wall layouts, and these can be launched through an operator keyboard, software platform or hardware input.

Tim Duggan, Technical Director at Oprema, says: “The scalable display, multi-screen controller and the HD, high-brightness, high-contrast LCD splicing unit, makes this the complete video wall solution. It is ideal for use in control rooms or large projects with multiple security and building management personnel, such as banks, government buildings, airports, public transport and CCTV monitoring centres.”

Gareth Williams, Sales Director at Oprema, adds: “As the UK’s premier Dahua distributor, the Dahua video wall will take centre stage on our stand at IFSEC. But, we’re also demonstrating the very latest security products and systems from our other partners – Milestone, Paxton, Tyco and Videx – as well as making installers and integrators aware of the full range of support services we can offer them.”

This is the first time Oprema is exhibiting at IFSEC and it represents a new approach for the distributor, highlighting the company says its growth from an independent, local distributor to its current position as a full turnkey national security solutions provider and UK distributor of CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion, Fire and Data products.

Williams adds: “To celebrate this being our first year exhibiting at IFSEC, we’re giving visitors to our stand the chance to win £25,000 in our Crack the Code competition, so come and see us on stand C660!”
