by Mark Rowe

ADI Global Distribution, the distributor of security, audio-visual (AV) and low-voltage products, has a distribution agreement with the security manufacturer Veracity. ADI customers across EMEA will have access to the transmission and installation tool product lines from Veracity.

Kate Rose, marketing director for ADI EMEA said: “ADI remains committed to providing our customers with access to the products they need to successfully design and install complete, integrated solutions. We are really excited to work with Veracity across EMEA, and we’re confident their product offering will further amplify ADI’s networking portfolio with an expanded product selection for our customers.”

Veracity specialises in IP video surveillance and display solutions and security management software for use at critical infrastructure sites such as military bases, power and water facilities, transportation hubs, stadiums and prisons. Outside the security market, Veracity products have been used in VoIP, IT, transportation, process control, data-logging, POE LED lighting systems, building management and safety monitoring applications.

Ashley Wyton, group sales director at Veracity said: “We are delighted to expand our global reach with ADI and offer our growing range of IP transmission products and solutions to their customers across EMEA. Building upon our longstanding relationship with ADI in North America and India, we will utilize their strong distribution channels to help deliver our products to customers across the region.”

Veracity offerings available through the distributor include long-range Ethernet and POE extenders, POE over coax adaptors, POE switches, video display controllers, network time-servers and a range of camera installation tools and accessories. These products are available across EMEA from September 5, stocked in hubs in the Netherlands and UK.
