Integrated Security Consultants Ltd (ISC) has been awarded with Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) status from the industry’s government regulator, the Security Industry Authority (SIA). The company, that has worked with brands including the NFL, Wembley Stadium, De Beers and corporates across the UK, says that the award recognises the professionalism and quality procedures it has developed in its 14-year history.
Amanda Randall, ISC’s Quality Manager, says: “For many years ISC has adopted the principals required by the ACS. To have this corroborated by an independent assessment body will benefit our internal development and increase business opportunities.”
The voluntary SIA scheme measures 89 criteria within an organisation, including strategy, processes, commercial relationship management, resources, financial management, HR procedures, leadership and conformity to Security Industry British Standards. ISC passed its assessment on all these indicators and the firm adds in many cases considerably exceeded requirements.
ISC Managing Director, Pat Carr, says: “Achieving ACS accreditation demonstrates that ISC is committed to further enhancing its service to clients and staff alike. Alongside our Gold award from the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) and silver certification from sustainability consultants Carbon Smart, this achievement cements ISC as an organisation committed to providing professional, quality-led and environmentally-conscious security services.”
