Plymouth tender win

Security Management South West Limited has gained the Security Support Tender (Lots one and two) for Plymouth City Council.

Nine companies were invited to tender, local and large national firms and the process took several months, the contractor reports. The contract, which began on September 1, is for four years with an extension clause of a further three. It will see the company provide security services including key-holding, alarm response, manned guarding, mobile patrols and specialist event security.

All Security Management South West Limited’s male and female Officers are Security Industry Authority-licenced, and the company holds numerous business and industry accreditations, BS EN ISO 9001 and CHAS, SafeCONTRACTOR, Buy with confidence approved and have SIA-approved contractor status.

Plymouth City Council’s Events Team stage a variety of events each year and has been working with Security Management South West Ltd during the last few months in the preparation, planning, management and delivery of the MTV Crashes Plymouth event. Other events include Armed Forces Day, the British Firework Championships local Band Nights and the famous Solitaire Du Figaro.
