Regional winners

by Mark Rowe

The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) has announced the regional winners of this year’s annual Security Personnel Awards.

The awards are now in their 15th year, and recognise the hard work of people working within the security industry across five categories: Best Team, Outstanding Act, Service to the Customer, Best Newcomer and Best Use of Technology.

Trevor Elliott, Director of Manpower and Membership Services at the BSIA, said: “It is fantastic to see the high level of achievements within the security year in, year out.
The awards are always so hard to judge due to the exceptional standard of applicants, and this year was no exception.

“The BSIA prides itself upon representing the very best in the security industry and the outstanding contributions of our award winners merely solidify this. We are extremely proud to be associated with the talent displayed by our winners and look forward to presenting them with their awards.”

The award presentations will take place across the UK in the coming months, with each of the winners also going forward to the national judging phase. The national winners will be presented with their awards at the trade association’s annual lunch on July 16.
