Pro-Vision authorised

by Mark Rowe

Pro-Vision, the UK distributor of branded CCTV and access control equipment, reports that the company is now authorised to sell and support Exacq’s IP products – including the Video Management Solutions (VMS).

Simon Davies, Internal Sales Manager for Pro-Vision says: “exacqVision’s VMS Software is an open architecture video surveillance and recording solution supporting both analogue and IP cameras from multiple manufacturers. exacqVision is based on a client-server architecture as the foundation for deploying everything from small single camera systems to large, fully scalable and distributed corporate or campus style systems with thousands of cameras. Their advanced virtual matrix switching and display enables the deployment of sophisticated surveillance solutions for remote and centralised monitoring. Virtual matrix switching will automatically route video to monitors on internal or external events. Fast PTZ control and automated camera touring routes video to a designated display based on external events or manual control. External events include triggers from contact closure sensors, video motion, serial and IP streams from access control, door entry, ATM and POS systems. xacq provides both exacqVision VMS software and preconfigured hybrid and IP stream systems giving customers the choice and convenience of deploying solutions to meet their specific needs and requirements. Pre-configured systems simplify and speed the selection and installation process. Software-only VMS solutions provide customers with the option to select their hardware manufacturer and the price and performance desired.”

Shropshire-based Pro-Vision has a 20,000sq ft warehouse. Orders placed up to 5:30pm will, subject to availability, be despatched on the same day and delivered the following day. Pro-Vision Distribution only sell branded CCTV and distributes equipment from over 50 manufacturers within the CCTV and access control market. Visit www.provision-cctv.com
