The CCTV company Vista announces a partnership between Vista VK2 Network Video Recorders (NVRs) and D-Link Network Attached Storage (NAS) products.
The firms report that VK2 recorders allow for up to 12TB of onboard storage. When coupled with the D-Link NAS, the recorders can be expanded up to 36TB. A D-Link NAS offers a greater level of redundancy by providing RAID 5 disk storage and the ability for it to be elsewhere than the VK2 recorder.
D-Link has been a preferred network infrastructure provider for Vista for a number of years.
Mark Pritchard, Divisional Director of Vista, says: “Vista’s partnership with D-Link NAS reaffirms our commitment to delivering flexible and scalable Full HD video solutions to the CCTV market.”
And Andrew Mulholland, Head of Business Solutions, D-Link UKI says: “We see the IP Surveillance sector as a huge growth area in the UK. Given Vista’s presence and reputation in the market, together we will be able to present customers with a compelling proposition that’s both dependable, affordable and addresses the growing need to record at higher resolutions from more cameras.”
