GJD at NSI Installer Summit

by Mark Rowe

GJD, the Lancashire-based manufacturer of external detector equipment and LED illuminators, is to unveil its newest technology at the NSI Installer Summit, at Birmingham on March 10. GJD at stand 39 will be showcasing their Clarius Plus range of LED illuminators, as well as their external wired and wireless detectors including the latest IP range and laser detectors.

Ana Maria Sagra-Smith, GJD’s Sales and Marketing Director said: “This year, we are showcasing our newly released range of Clarius Plus Infra-Red and White-Light LED illuminators, which are manufactured in our factory in Heywood, Greater Manchester. We have had a lot of success with our other Clarius ranges, so we have developed this new design called the Clarius Plus. A major benefit is its interchangeable lens diffuser system, enabling users to quickly and easily alter the angle of illumination to deliver light over varying fields of view: 10, 30, 60, 80 and 120 degrees.”

The Clarius Plus features a CleanLite hydrophobic coating, which protects against scratches, dust and water build up on the cover. It is also ‘self-cleansing’, and the photocell is positioned on top of the light, unlike competitive products which are at the back of the light, the makers say, making Clarius Plus more sensitive to ambient lighting. Clarius Plus illuminators are 100pc tested, the firm adds. Clarius Plus goes through testing procedures including highly accelerated life testing (HALT), which includes environment, endurance and vibration frequency tolerance testing.

GJD is giving away £10 vouchers for use at a variety of shops including Currys, Halfords, TK Maxx, River Island, iTunes and more for installers who pre-book a product demonstration for the day of the summit. GJD is also hosting a business card raffle for a chance to win a GJD product. To pre-book a product demonstration email [email protected].
