The PIR detector manufacturer, Luminite Electronics, appoints Laura Grainger as Sales and Marketing Manager.
Laura has over 20 years’ experience in sales and marketing roles in the fine art and interior design sectors. Laura is looking forward to her move into the CCTV and security industry.
Graham Creek, Luminite’s Managing Director, says: “Laura will ensure that existing Luminite customers continue to receive the very best pre and post-sales service. She will be developing new sales channels in the UK and Europe and views the growth potential of the export markets as a particularly exciting prospect. She will focus on the Genesis G1 and G2 hard-wired and wireless PIR detection systems and Illume IR lighting. She will also be heading up the team responsible for bringing the new G3, wireless, combined PIR and CCTV camera to market, due for release in 2014.”

North London-based Luminite says that its PIRs reduce false alarms and efficiently detect intruders. The firm says PIR detectors still offer the most cost-effective security solution to large, open sites where cameras are difficult to position or where video analytics is prohibitively expensive.
