Expo software

by msecadm4921

At the Counter Terror Expo conference in London on April 25 and 26, CNL Software, the Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software firm, will be demonstrating its IPSecurityCenter PSIM product, aimed at critical infrastructure, national assets and corporate enterprise; on stand D78.

Today national infrastructure faces terrorist threats to power production, fuel processing, mass transit, distribution networks, water and agriculture. The security challenge includes maintaining the safety of national assets which are essential to society and the economy, the failure or damage of which would have a devastating impact far greater than the site perimeter, according to the firm.

James Condron, VP Sales – CNL Software, says: “IPSecurityCenter from CNL Software sits at the heart of some of the world’s major Critical Infrastructure Protection solutions from oil refinery operations in the Middle East producing over 10 Million barrels of oil a day to a power station powering 10pc of the UK national grid and from a process facility in the US supplying water to 1.5 million people to a US port authority protecting over 10,000 passengers a day. Counter Terror Expo gives us a great opportunity to discuss PSIM benefits using real life case studies with security professionals who understand that having intelligent security systems is imperative to maintaining services in the event of a major terrorist incident or environmental disaster.”

At the conference James Condron will be presenting a session on “PSIM: Bringing Information Management to Physical Security”. Calling upon CNL’s experience working with corporates in the US, his presentation will explore the need for information management within physical security and the return on investment. The session will run on Thursday 26 April, noon to 12.20pm.
