Phil Doyle MD

by Mark Rowe

Quadrant Security Group (QSG), part of Synectics plc, has appointed a new Managing Director: Phil Doyle.

He joins the security systems company from network video business AXIS Communications, where he was Regional Director for Northern Europe. Spanning some 17 years, Phil’s career has also seen him hold senior positions at technology firms including chip and pin business Thales, and electronic security and RFID product company TAG.

He said: “I’m passionate about technology. But what really interests me is the service side of the industry, being able to build long term relationships with clients to really understand their business, their challenges and using this knowledge to advise on, and deliver, the best solutions. Historically that has been QSG’s strength and that is a great thing to build on. My task is to capitalise on this core strength and generate further industry awareness of the sheer breadth of the business’ ‘end-to-end’ security offering.”

Phil, pictured, will report directly to Paul Moonan, Divisional Managing Director at Synectics plc. Paul Moonan said: “We are delighted to welcome Phil on board. His extensive experience within the industry, and philosophy of focussing on service as the key to business development, is perfectly aligned with the values that have seen QSG go from strength to strength. His particular expertise in analogue to IP transition management is highly relevant to the sectors QSG serves, and to the security industry as whole.” For further information on QSG, visit www.qsg.co.uk .
