Access Control

CPD seminar

by Mark Rowe

ASSA ABLOY Access Control has launched a new CPD seminar to help clients understand how keyless access operates, in a range of applications.

The new seminar, accredited by RIBA, aims to deliver a better understanding on keyless access products such as ASSA ABLOY Access Control’s wireless Aperio lock and the technology involved, alongside the types of products included and their features and benefits.

ASSA ABLOY Access Control will also introduce visitors to the latest standards and regulations that affect keyless access solutions.

What they say

Damian Marsh, Managing Director of ASSA ABLOY Access Control, says: “The new seminar, inspired by ASSA ABLOY and accredited by RIBA has been carefully created to ensure attendees maximise the opportunity to learn about the latest innovations in keyless access solutions.

“Right from the basics to the relevant industry standards, the seminar intends to provide a better understanding of the general features and benefits of different types of access solutions and their uses whilst also providing a platform to engage with industry experts.”

The agenda for the CPD seminar includes an introduction to ASSA ABLOY and the ASSA ABLOY Access Control business unit. An insight into access control and the different keyless access solutions, components and products presents ASSA ABLOY’s Aperio™ wireless locking solution that can instantly integrate into an existing access control system. The final section provides a round up of the standards and a comparison of access systems.

Damian adds: “Coming with the backing of ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in total door opening solutions in association with the high profile of RIBA, this is a powerful CPD accreditation that will be recognised across a number of industry sectors. At a time when the economic recovery is gaining momentum, it could provide an immediate commercial advantage for those in pursuit of new business.”

The full agenda for the CPD Seminar is now available to view at www.assaably.co.uk/aperio. For more information, or to register your interest, email [email protected].
