Training and demo centre

by Mark Rowe

IDIS has opened a purpose-built training and demonstration centre at its London site. THis follows the launch earlier this year of its DirectIP full-HD products. Using a range of cameras and NVRs, customers can join the monthly DirectIP sessions or book a dedicated training slot on demand. First level training, designed for eight to 32 channel installers and users, provides all the skills needed for operating and installing DirectIP, in half a day.

Greg Kulesza, Technical Manager at IDIS, said: “The training sessions really prove that DirectIP does exactly what it says on the tin; plug-and-play simplicity and high-performance full-HD surveillance. We provide each participant with an NVR and two-cameras, then I step out to make a cup of tea and when I come back, they have it installed with live streaming.”

A choice of two further and more in-depth training sessions are available for large to enterprise-wide applications, covering features such as fail-safe redundancy, multi-site monitoring plus the enterprise-level IDIS video management solution.

To book a DirectIP training or demo session, e-mail [email protected]. For more on IDIS and DirectIP go to www.idisglobal.com.
