SA gambling install

by Mark Rowe

The CCTV manufacturer VIVOTEK reports that it has participated in several significant projects.

One of them was just completed in South Africa in 2013. The National Gambling Board (NGB) is subject to strict security requirements, as it is the agency within the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) responsible for the oversight of matters related to casinos, gambling, betting and wagering in South Africa. To comply with the DTI’s standards and requirements, the NGB installed a turnkey security solution in the NGB’s new offices. A complete solution included access control, a biometric system, and audio-visual including video conferencing in the NSB’s main boardroom. The foundation of this system lies in VIVOTEK’s video cameras. VIVOTEK says that its range of cameras were recognised for their picture clarity, delivering clear and detailed images.
