Role: Fire Alarm Service Engineer
Location: London
Salary: £36,000 to £45,000 per annum
Technical Resources are recruiting for a Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join a reputable and growing fire & security solutions provider. The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of addressable and conventional fire alarm systems across commercial, industrial, and public sector sites.
Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive servicing of fire alarm systems.

Diagnose and repair system faults quickly and efficiently.

Complete all service documentation, reports, and certification accurately.

Ensure compliance with BS 5839 and other relevant fire safety standards.

Liaise with clients and provide technical support and advice where required.

Participate in a call-out rota as part of the service team.
Experience and Certifications Required:

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience servicing fire alarm systems.

Strong working knowledge of addressable and conventional panels (Advanced, Kentec, Morley, C-Tec preferred).

Good understanding of BS 5839 and general fire alarm system design principles.

Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Confident working independently or as part of a team.
