Fire Alarm Service Engineer | £32,000-£40,000 | Birmingham

- £36,000 – £40,000 basic salary
- 1 in 12 daytime call-out rota – £40 per day call-out payment, with increased rates at weekends

Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain fire alarm systems within social housing properties
- Attend reactive call-outs and complete planned maintenance visits
- Work on AOV systems and some HSSD systems where required
- Accurately complete job reports and compliance documentation
- Fault-find and repair systems efficiently to minimise downtime
- Communicate effectively with residents, clients, and office teams
- Ensure compliance with relevant British Standards and regulations
- Maintain high standards of health & safety at all times
Key Requirements
Essential
- Gent Basic trained
- Proven experience servicing fire alarm systems
- Background working in social housing environments
- Strong fault-finding skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Experience with AOV systems
- Exposure to HSSD systems
- Ideally 5 years’ industry experience
