ESP MD

ESP Ltd, the security products supplier and part of the Scolmore Group, has appointed Paul Dawson as new MD in place of Andy Clements. Paul Dawson, pictured, takes up his new position after three years as commercial director at Scolmore.

Having started as an apprentice electrician in Leeds 26 years ago, Paul moved into sales at the age of 21. He joined Scolmore in 2007 as regional sales manager for the north before taking the role of commercial manager in 2008 and commercial director in 2010.

Paul said: “I am thrilled to be taking on the role of managing director at such an exciting time in ESP’s development. There has been significant investment in all areas of the business since it was acquired by Scolmore at the beginning of 2012 and I look forward to playing a key role in building on the success we have so far achieved and continuing to drive growth for the future.”

And Neil Baldwin has been appointed National Sales Manager and joins with 17 years’ experience in the industry specialising in fire and emergency lighting products.

He says: “ESP is a strong brand with an excellent reputation within the industry and I’m keen to play my part in developing our fire detection and emergency lighting portfolios to drive growth in these lucrative sectors.”
