Founder moves

by Mark Rowe

Vincenzo Roberti, Managing Director and co-founder of Sicura Systems is to leave the company. Vincenzo formed Sicura Systems in 2005, a software developer and installer of mission critical security infrastructures. Clients cover a range of sectors, such as motorsport, the FIA (Formula 1); utilities; transportation and Government.

Sicura Systems was acquired in 2013 by Access Control Technology (ACT), a Dublin-based manufacturer of access control products and since then the management teams of both companies have been working together on the integration of Sicura into the ACT group.

Vincenzo said: “I am deeply saddened to leave Sicura Systems due to my long personal involvement in it. However, I feel now is the time for me to move on and explore new challenges, not only within security but also the media sector where I started my career. I am also keen to develop my mentoring role within the start up technology sector. I would like to take the opportunity to thank our partners and clients that have supported our company and inspired us in developing one of the best products in the market.”
