Installer, Vista partner

by Mark Rowe

NW Systems Group has signed a partnership agreement with the UK camera and video management systems provider Vista.

Under the terms of this agreement the IP video systems installer and value-add reseller NW Systems will offer Vista’s range of IP cameras – as well as its soon-to-be-launched qulu video management software. Vista’s IP sales have to date been mainly to the traditional CCTV and facilities management channel.

NW Systems – as a north-west based IP video installer, reseller and video hosting services provider – says that it offers Vista a route into the IT departments of manufacturers, schools, hotels and leisure facilities, government bodies, construction firms and household-name retailers.

Frank Crouwel, managing director, NW Systems Group, pictured, said: “Vista is in a unique position in that its focus over many years has been on selling its analogue-based CCTV range of products into the traditional CCTV market. It’s a big task today is to get its new IP cameras and VMS suite into the hands of IP video systems decision-makers – the network and IT managers and directors who increasingly call the shots when CCTV systems are being upgraded to IP or new IP video systems being specified. We will help Vista reach this important new market.”

And Gareth Williams, business development director, Vista, added: “NW Systems will give us an important route to market for our expanding range of IP video products. Their enormous database of IT and network manager contacts and expanding IP video systems integration business, makes them an ideal partner as we increase this side of the business and develop in the IT channels.”

The Vista range of IP cameras spans the E-Series of cameras, the F-Series with an extended feature set and the W-Series of wireless IP cameras. Vista designs and manufactures its products in the UK. Visit: http://www.networkwebcams.co.uk/index.php?cPath=198
