Jeff Little to advise Mitie

by Mark Rowe

Brig (Retd) Jeff Little has become an advisor to the board for contractor Mitie’s total security management (TSM) business.

For three years Jeff was CEO of the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) and he brings with him experience in strategic security, resilience, training, systems and emergency planning. The company says that he will focus on Mitie’s security offering to major clients within the defence, nuclear, utilities and data centre industries.

Jeff, pictured, said: “I have always been impressed by Mitie’s security business. It is one of the only companies in the UK who can provide genuine integration of people, technology and specialist partners. I am looking forward to developing their offering and taking the Mitie way of thinking forward. Security services have become such an integral part of any business, so it is vital that we continue to offer innovative solutions.”

And Bob Forsyth, managing director of Mitie’s total security management business, added: “We’re always looking to add fresh and different perspectives to our strategic thinking and Jeff can provide this alongside invaluable experience in one of our key sectors, critical security environments. Jeff’s contribution will be instrumental as we look to build further on our recent success.”
