Midlands meet

by Mark Rowe

The last monthly meeting of 2014 of the Midland Security and Risk Society (MSRS) will see a panel of speakers.

An open forum is planned on December 3 where members can ask questions and raise issues to the panel of: Richard Underwood, MSRS chairman, pictured, of RISCAuthority; John Moore, West Midlands Police Alarm Manager; Lee Wallace of insurer TH March; Steffan George of the MLA (Master Locksmiths Association); John Willetts of installer ADT; and Bob Tuck of alarm transmission product company Emizon.

Questions can be sent in advance by e-mail [treated anonymously if requested] to Mike Tolley at [email protected].

The meetings are held at the West Midlands Police Sports Club, Tally Ho, on Pershore Road, Birmingham. A chips and sandwich buffet is laid on, starting at 1pm with the aim being to sit and eat, and start the forum, at 1.15pm. Guests are welcome, but the organisers ask that you let them know – and membership forms will be available on the day!

The society programme of speakers for 2015 is being finalised and will be announced shortly. The dates of the next meetings are: January 7, February 4, March 4, April 15, May 13, June 10.
