NW ops appointment

Ian Clarke, pictured, has been appointed Senior Operations Manager North West for Ward Security, the Kent-based security services supplier.

Based in Manchester, Ian has responsibility for clients in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and the wider North West. Ward reports a strong presence in the region where clients include Braemar Estates and MJ Mapp, specialist property management businesses.

Ian comes from a military background. He served 23 years as an Operations Warrant Officer and has a close protection and security advisory background. Since leaving the military Ian has worked as a security manager for a Gibraltar-based hedge fund and as a Security Manager for The Risk Advisory Group Dubai covering the EMEA region. Ian has also been instructing Close Protection, Physical Intervention and Conflict Management courses for Wilplan Training based in Chorley.
