Videotec at IFSEC 2015

by Mark Rowe

ULISSE RADICAL is a range of PTZ cameras from Videotec. These PTZs are factory assembled with cameras and motorized zoom lenses, requiring only power and network connectivity to operate.

ULISSE RADICAL was developed by Videotec in every single detail during the design and engineering stages to ensure proper functioning, making it ready for use. The camera and lens have been pre-configured during the production stage, and the user only needs to connect up to the power supply and network and carry out the final set-up to adapt it to requirements.

The product integrates a Full HD network camera, half-inch CMOS sensor, 1080p/60fps, with low light sensitivity. TheItalian makers add that high-performance lenses were selected, 18mm or 33mm, with an advanced autofocus that allows the user to achieve and maintain automatic focus on a subject, quickly reaching very distant targets with sharp details, it is claimed.

The camera offers sharp images in no light thanks to two infra-red LED illuminators for illumination in the dark up to a distance of more than 200m away, it’s claimed.

The company is exhibiting at IFSEC 2015, stand G275.
